Attached herewith is the letter from the Part 13 complainant to the FAA, as well as the County’s
response prepared by our adviser Dave Bennett in Washington D.C. which I have reviewed. Please
finalize the referenced on County stationary for signature by the Board Chairman after confirming
that Mr. Dowd has signed off for legal sufficiency (an e-mail from Mr. Dowd will work). Also
attached is the Destin Airport Helipad Siting Study Technical Memo prepared by RS&H Engineering
which is referenced in the county response letter and needs to be enclosed. Once signed, please
electronically distribute the signed letter and study as .pdf and provide hard copies to the Board of
Commissioners.
