BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 7, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Watkins Cove subdivision DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: To review the final plat for Watkins Cove, a proposed 4 lot single family detached residential subdivision as submitted by Mark Siner with Choctaw Engineering on behalf of the property owner, TNPW LLC. The property is currently zoned Residential 2 (R 2) with a Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation of Medium Density Residential (MDR). The general location of the property is the west of Harrelson Drive, Fort Walton Beach. Property contains 1.03 acres more or less. BACKGROUND: Development Order (DO) for Watkins Cove was issued on May 27, 2016. The proposed 4 lot single family detached residential subdivision is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code. Staff has no objection to the approval of the final plat as submitted. All approvals are on file. OPTIONS: The Board may approve for recording or may withhold approval.
