RE: Structural Steel for Administration Building
Dear Mr. Chairman,
Please note that we are currently in the process of assembling the final bid documents
for the structural steel package. This package is by far the most important component of
the project, particularly from a schedule standpoint. We must have the steel purchased,
fabricated, and delivered to the site no later than October 3, 2014 if the current schedule
for completion is to be accomplished.
We have estimated the cost of the steel to be approximately $1,500,000 and request this
not-to-exceed amount of funding be reserved and approved to allow for purchasing to
proceed on July 3, 2014.
