STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff requests the Board authorize the waiver of park permit fees for
all non-profit and not-for profit organizations.
BACKGROUND: Many not-for-profit and non-profit organizations have limited funding
available for activities that benefit the public and exclusive use of Okaloosa County parks and
recreational areas by individuals and organizations requires a permit fee.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends the Board authorize the waiver of park permit
fees for all non-profit and not-for profit organizations.
