SUBJECT: Purchase of One ( 1) Combination Sewer Cleaner Truck
Bid Recommendation
After reviewing the attached bid tabulation for bid # 08 -112 ( Combination Sewer
Cleaner Truck), it is my recommendation to award to the lowest responsive
bidder meeting all specifications: Sansom Equipment Co. of Mobile, Alabama.
The base bid amount minus the trade -in allowance is: $ 228, 986. 00
The extended warranty for the truck transmission: 900. 00
The total of all selected options: 20. 068. 00
Total cost: Truck, warranty, options: $ 249, 954.00
This price is within the amount budgeted ($ 250, 000. 00) for this vehicle.
