BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: May 3, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: David Skarzynski, Budget Manager SUBJECT: Budget Resolution(s) & Transfer(s) STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Budget Resolutions & Transfer. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fund, from Florida Department of Emergency Management (FDEM) for 2015 State Homeland Security Grant Program - Issue 27, in the amount of $159,912. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fund, from Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (FDACS) for food commodities grant, in the amount of $1,605. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, General Fund, for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) passes and coupons, charges for services, equipment and insurance proceeds and miscellaneous revenue, in the amount of $473,450. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, Natural Disaster Fund, for cash carryforward, in the amount of $963,340. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, County Health Department Fund, for miscellaneous revenue, in the amount of $35,454. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget, Airport Enterprise Fund, Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) and Customer Facility Charge (CFC) cash carryforward, in the amount of $2,343,717. Budget Transfer, Tourist Development Fund, provide funding for Meetings Today Magazine ($3,500) and VF America's Best Vacations ($10,000), in the amount of $13,500. RECOMMENDATION: Staff requests Board approval of attached Budget Resolutions & Transfers.
