AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA; PROVIDING AUTHORITY; AMENDING SECTION
2. 01. 03 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING
MEETING DATES AND TIME FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS;
AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Authority
The authority for enactment of this ordinance is section 166. 021, Florida
Statutes ( 2007), and provisions of the City Charter.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 2. 01. 03, Regular Meetings
Section 2. 01. 03, Regular Meetings, of the Code of Ordinances, is
amended as follows:
Regular meetings of the city council shall be held on the second and
fourth Tuesdays of each month, or on other days in the month as
determined bv the City Council, at ~ 6: 00 p. m.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City
Council and signature of the Mayor.
