OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA MEMORANDUM TO: Joyce Shanahan, City M~~ FROM: Helen Spencer, City Cler~ y DA TE: September 29, 2006 SUBJECT: Code Enforcement Board Appointment BACKGROUND: Terry Brockhoeft was appointed to the Code Enforcement Board as a regular member on August 22, 2006, for a three- year term until August 21, 2009. Mr. Brockhoeft passed away suddenly in September, leaving an unexpired term until AU2:ust 21. 2009. DISCUSSION: Code Enforcement Board members are appointed for three- year terms, and membership is limited to two ( 2) three- year terms. At any time Council may submit a nominee for consideration and an application must be filed out prior to recommendation. Lisa J. Courtney, 221 Beachview Drive, was appointed by Council as an alternate on September 26, 2006, for an unexpired term. Ms. Courtney has been contacted and does not wish to be considered for a regular position at this time. There is one application on file with the City Clerk. APPLICANT: JOSEPH A.
