STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Assignment of Lease from Regency Acquisition 1, LLC
to Hanger 6, LLC for Block 8 Lot 6 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport is being presented to
the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: Regency Acquisition 1, LLC, Mr. Phillip Ward, previously entered into a
ground lease for Block 8 Lot 6 at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport and now assigns his
responsibilities to Hanger 6, LLC, Mr. Tony Diez. Regency Acquisition 1, LLC is currently in
compliance with all requirements of their lease. Assignment of Lease transfer fee received.
The contract and lease internal coordination sheet is attached along with Mr. Diez's certificate of
insurance.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject, or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Assignment
of Lease as described above.
