RE: — Appointment for Representation of Okaloosa County on
Tri-County Community Council, Inc., Board of Directors for 2013 Term
Dear Chair:
Tri-County Community Council, Inc., is a Community Action Agency providing services for Bay,
Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington Counties.
We are required to have a tripartite Board of Directors with representation of government, business, and
low income participants. Due to the busy schedule of commissioners, our By-Laws have a provision that
would allow the appointment of a designee to represent the commission. This year designee Abra
McGill represented Okaloosa County on our Board of Directors as your government representative.
Please consider this an invitation from the board of directors to appoint someone from your board or a
designee who will be able to_attend the board meetings to represent the Public Sector for Okaloosa
County on our Board of Directors for 2013. We are required by the Florida Department of
Community Affair to receive all appointments in writing for the Public Sector annually.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Janice Richards
Board of Directors Liaison
