to delete a Plan Inspector/Building
Official position and add a Specialist -
Plan Inspector/Building Official
position in the Facilities Planning
Department.
Public Content
The Facilities Planning Department is requesting approval to delete a Plan Inspector/Building Official position and add a Specialist - Plan
Inspector/Building Official position for a net change of zero positions. The restructure moves this position from the Professional-
Technical Salary Schedule to the Administrative Salary Schedule where it has been funded in the past. Although the change represents
a nominal increase in cost, filling this position would enable the District to obtain building permits at no cost. For example, if the District
must obtain its building permits through Okaloosa County for Task Order #12, the projected cost is $100,000. The position will be funded
through a transfer of funds from Capital Outlay to General.
