A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA,
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND OKALOOSA COUNTY,
PERMITTING A PARCEL OF PROPERTY TO BE APPROPRIATED
UPON PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF MONEY ENTERED IN CASE
NO. 71-1417, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The City Manager on behalf of the City of
Fort Walton Beach is hereby authorized to enter into the attached
stipulation with the State of Florida, Department of Transportation
and Okaloosa County to appropriate that portion of the City's
interest in and to parcel #803, in Case No. 71-1417 filed in
the Circuit Court in and for Okaloosa County, Florida, the
same being used for a drainage easement, and the said agreement
providing that the City receive the sum of One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) in settlement.
SECTION 2. This Resolution being of administrative
nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
