Recommended Action : Motion to approve Fiscal Year 2022-
2023 Child Care Fee Changes.
Public Content
On March 28, 2022, the Board approved Child Care fees for fiscal year 2022-2023 for the following child care programs: Bluewater
Elementary School, Northwood Elementary School, Plew Elementary School, and Wright Elementary School. At that time, it was
anticipated that Antioch Elementary School and Bob Sikes Elementary School would be changing from school-run Child Care programs
to Boys & Girls Club programs. These schools were not able to contract with Boys & Girls Club for fiscal year 2022-2023; therefore, they
would like to continue to offer their own child care programs for their students.
The attached document indicates all schools offering Child Care programs for fiscal year 2022-2023. Antioch Elementary School is not
requesting any changes, and Bob Sikes Elementary School's changes are highlighted. Please note that a new line has been added -
"Drop In Rate - After School Only - Enrichment Activity Day." This is related to an enhanced program that Northwood Elementary School
would like to start offering.

Contract Modification Agreement Change Order 19 between the School Board of Okaloosa County and CACI, Inc. effective March 1,
2022, modifying the IT Seat Management Outsourcing Agreement dated May 12, 2014.
Firewall Support Seat costs will be adjusted from $4,593.11 per month to $10,294.96 per month for March 2022 through June 2022. This
change is a result of the Firewall hardware being replaced at the end of the hardware life in March of 2022 and services being renewed
for an additional year. New Firewall Authenticator/Analyzer hardware and services also had to be purchased. The prices for these items
have increased, and the cost is being spread over one year rather than five years causing the monthly amount to be much higher than
previously paid. The increase in cost for fiscal year 2021-2022 is $22,807.40, and the increase in cost for fiscal year 2022-2023 is
$23,206.08 for a total of $46,013.48.
Firewall Support Seat costs will adjust to $10,652.40 per month for July 2022 and August 2022. This is a combination of the remainder
of the Firewall hardware payments ($4,950.54) and the Firewall Authenticator/Analyzer ($5,701.86). Beginning September 2022 through
February 2023, the monthly payment will be $5,701.86 for the Firewall Authenticator/Analyzer only. Reference attached Exhibit A, cost
breakdown, and analysis of fiscal year costs.
