RESOLUTION V¥-™ A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO EXECUTE A DEED TO CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY INDUSTRIAL TRACT, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON ‘BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Fort Walton Beach is hereby authorized to execute the attached deed to property to Robert L. Morrison upon payment of the sum of $4,000.00 per acre. SECTION 2. That the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby grants to Robert L. Morrison an option to purchase the property set forth in the attached Exhibit "B" for the purchase price of $4,000.00 per acre, provided this option is exercised within 24 months from date. SECTION 3. This resolution being of administrative nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. Upan receipt of the purchase price within twenty- four months from the above date, the Optionor shall deliver to the Optionee good and sufficient warranty deed conveying the said property to the Optionee free and clear of all encumbrances with the exception that the property shall be restricted as follows: The use of the foregoing property is restricted to the manufacture and storage of wood and/or other steel products, provided, however, no retail sales shall be made from the property and provided further that construction of a building is commenced thereon within six months from date of warranty deed and be completed within 18 months from date of warranty deed. Upon failure to comply with this provision, the property shall revert to the City of Fort Walton Beach.
