On behalf of The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce | would like to
request a Public Event Permit for the 2013 Mardi Gras Parade on Okaloosa Island, to
be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
The parade line up will begin at 9:00 AM with the official start time for the parade at
11:00 AM. The parade route starts at the west end of Santa Rosa Blvd and ends at
the Tom Thumb just before the intersection of Santa Rosa Blvd and US Highway 98.
The floats will then travel under Brooks Bridge and continue to the east end of Santa
Rosa Blvd at Pandora’s Restaurant.
Our parade volunteers will wear safety vest and ensure that those viewing the
parade stay out of the direct path of the parade floats.

the Okaloosa County Board of Commissioners for assistance with this event.
