LIBERTARIAN PARTY OF OKALOOSA COUNTY October 21, 2026 We, the Libertarian Party of Okaloosa County, are proud to recommend T. PAYNE WALKER for FORT WALTON BEACH CITY COUNCIL. We are pleased by his actions as a current Fort Walton Beach City Council member. Mr. Walker Continues to challenge the City Governments lack of transparency, lack of accountability, and disrespect to the taxpayer. T. PAYNE WALKER served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, is currently a Real Estate Broker, and has been on the Fort Walton Beach City Council for over 3 years. Removing excess financial burden is his guiding principle. The City of Fort Walton Beach continues to take money from its residents at every available opportunity, through taxes, fees, and senseless government projects that will demand more spending as time goes on. Mr. Walker continues to bring these practices to public view and will continue to advocate for meaningful change to protect residents from limitless taxation, to rein in spending, and to quell the City Government’s overreach. Mr. Walker advocates for removing the subsidies for government owned commercial enterprises from the responsibility of the taxpayer, to include consideration of private-sector management or ‘operation where appropriate, No government in this beautiful county should be operating a business and supporting its failures and deficiencies with taxes collected from the people thereof. Using taxpayer dollars to subsidize commercial enterprises is inconsistent with the principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility. The current 911 dispatch and police coverage of Fort Walton Beach is another excessive expenditure for the city. In the currently existing agreement, the county dispatch center answers the phone first then transfers FWB residents to the city dispatch center. Mr. Walker questions if ‘emergency response can be made more efficient, for less expense, and without the duplication of services by the City. Fort Walton Beach residents, through rent or property taxes directly, pay city and county taxes. Mr. Walker believes that FWB’s municipal police services deserve evaluation with care to determine whether or not opportunities exist to improve efficiency, reduce taxpayer cost, and maintain public safety. Itis for all of these things that we believe T. PAYNE WALKER is the best choice for FORT WALTON BEACH CITY COUNCIL. With pleasure, THU ove Phil Davis, Chairman (acting) Rob Rosenberger, Secretary (acting)
