Jo
The USO lifts the spirits of America’s troops and their families millions of times each year. Right here in
Northwest Florida we touch close to 12,000 military lives every month. We have already provided
services to as many troops in 2011 as we did during the entire year last year. As a non-profit agency we
depend on private donations to fund our efforts.
You can support our efforts to provide a touch of home to our nation’s heroes by sponsoring our Golf
Tournament being held on Veteran’s Day. The 2™ USO Golf for Heroes tournament is a fund raising
event to be held on Veteran’s Day, November 12, 2012 at Foxwood Country Club in Crestview, Florida.
Additionally, we would ask you to become an annual sponsor for our event being held on Veteran’s Day
each year. Your donation is tax-exempt under Section 501-C-3 of the IRS code. Our EIN is 13-1610451.
More importantly you will be helping us provide Care Packages to those active duty military personnel
who are deploying overseas, snacks to those troops using our airport USO facilities, fun events at area
military bases, and our military families of the Fallen Warrior Program.
Included attached is a sponsorship form and a golf registration form. | encourage you to not only
become a sponsor, but to get a few golf teams together to help us raise needed funds for your USO
Northwest Florida while having some fun.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and/or to pick up your donation. My cell
phone number is 850-346-5407 and email address is hblair@uso.org. Thank you for your generous gift
and support of the USO of Northwest Florida! You are making a HUGE difference to our nation’s heroes.
