between the Board and SS Solutions, LLC, for contracted services of Okaloosa County School District
retirees that are pre-approved and recommended by the Superintendent. At that same meeting, the
School Board requested the Superintendent to bring back a recommendation to ensure consistency and
equity related to contract cost. The Superintendent's recommendation to ensure contract pricing
consistency is to pay the beginning step of the position classification most closely identifying the duties
and responsibilities of the contractor supplied by the vendor plus an amount equivalent to the District's
cost of single health insurance coverage for the basic insurance plan and the associated vendor fee.
This recommendation will result in contract cost efficiencies and pricing consistency for services of
experienced contractors.
This agreement only pertains to non-collective bargaining services.
